Morning departure from your local pickup point, we make our way to Royal Leamington Spa. Renowned for its famous spa for centuries, the town is a treasure trove of historic sites and has grown to become a popular tourist destination with a thriving shopping and eatery hot spot. Later, we continue to the hotel.
Our day begins at Clivedon Gardens, where glorious gardens and woodlands overlook the River Thames. Stroll amongst the 80 acres of colourful gardens – the Rose Garden and impressive Clivedon Maze are not to be missed. In the afternoon we visit Henley-on-Thames, one of the most beautiful towns in England and world famous for the annual regatta held here for the past 175 years. Enjoy a riverside walk and peruse the boutiques for something special to take home.
Full day at Blenheim Palace. Step inside the Palace and explore the gilded State Rooms filled with priceless collections set against the beauty and magnificence of this Grade I listed building. Wander outside and discover the unique history of the formal gardens, get lost in the maze and explore the trails in the walled gardens.
Check out of the hotel to Oxford. The ‘City of Dreaming Spires’ is crammed full of treasures. From museums and galleries to cobbled streets bursting with boutiques, you will be spoilt for choice with how to spend the day.
