Great Yarmouth & Thursford Christmas Spectacular

Enjoy a mid-week break to Great Yarmouth - the resort where happiness is guaranteed with stunning beaches, beautiful countryside, Norfolk Broads and an enormous range of tourist attractions to visit. What better way to begin the festive season than with a mini break to Europe’s biggest Christmas show?! The Christmas Spectacular is a blend of exciting Christmas entertainment, with seasonal songs, carols, dazzling dancers, beautiful costumes, outstanding music and singing from a cast of over one hundred. This is one not to be missed!


View Dates

Day 1

Morning departure from your local pickup point. We make a stop at Boundary Mills in Grantham for some discounted shopping and lunch opportunity before continuing to the hotel

Day 2

Day at leisure in Great Yarmouth. The hotel is located just a few minutes stroll from both the seafront and the town centre. Peruse the independent shops, wander along the promenade or perhaps visit the Model Village or the Sea Life Centre.

Day 3

Excursion visiting ancient Hastings, where the popular seaside attractions along the glorious seafront sit alongside the fascinating history of this wonderful town. Lying beneath the ruins of the castle that has cast a watchful eye over the town for almost 1,000 years, there's so much to explore here. We continue to call at Rye, once a medieval citadel and now home to a myriad of art, curiosities and cosy pubs.

Day 4

Leisurely start to the day, we make our way to Thursford arriving midday. There will be time to take a look at the ‘olde worlde’ village style shops and have lunch (not included) before the show starts at 2pm. Sit back and enjoy a 3 hour extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour and variety.

Day 5

After a leisurely breakfast, we check out of the hotel and make our way home.

The Prom Hotel is one of the best 4 star hotels in Great Yarmouth. Located on the sea front, the hotel has an excellent position. It proudly offers an AA Rosette restaurant, spacious bar and modern guest rooms; many with picture postcard views of the sea, beach and Golden Mile.  The hotel has lift to most rooms.
