Liverpool City Break

Join us on a weekend break to Liverpool and see why we love this city! There’s plenty to experience from ghostly street tours to sipping cocktails from its many rooftop bars, and there’s more galleries and museums here than any other city outside London.

Day 1

After being collected from your local pick-up point, we travel to Liverpool with a comfort stop along the way. On arrival at the hotel, drop off your luggage and head out into the city. Liverpool City Centre is compact and walkable. There are various ‘quarters’ (more than four) that represent the various areas of the city centre. They are The Ropewalks, The Georgian Quarter, Cavern Quarter, The Baltic Triangle, The Waterfront, St George’s Quarter and Chinatown. With plenty of eateries, bars, shops and attractions, there's so much to explore!

Day 2

Enjoy an included breakfast at the hotel and then the day is at your leisure. You'll have the whole day to explore Liverpool.  Why not visit one of the excellent museums - some of which are unique to the city. There's every conceivable attraction dedicated to the Beatles of course, as well as interesting experiences like the 'Seized Gallery’ Located at Albert Dock; it details the history of smuggling and contraband in Britain. You could relax on a short cruise along the Mersey or explore the old waterfront. With so much to choose from, you’ll be spoilt for choice!

Day 3

After a leisurely breakfast we check out of the hotel and visit Manchester. Known as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, Manchester has a proud history which spans science, politics, music, the arts, and sports. The city-centre is jam packed with things to do, from shopping centres to unique museums, art galleries and a stunning cathedral.

Mercure Atlantic Tower Hotel

The incredible Liverpool Atlantic Tower hotel is a 12-story, 225 bedroom hotel that contributes to the city's stunning skyline. Set on the edge of the city's commercial district, opposite the Royal Liver building, the hotel is within walking-distance to some of Liverpool's best attractions. Liverpool Lime Street station is less than a mile away, while back at the hotel guests can enjoy spacious modern rooms with some of the best views in the city. Grab yourself a drink and enjoy breathtaking views of Liverpool at the Vue Bar and Terrace. Just ten minutes’ walk away is The Cavern Club, Albert Dock and Liverpool One.
