Tenby - The Welsh Riviera

We have a brand-new tour for 2025, we head to Tenby for a coastal break, staying in Tenby itself. With wonderful sea views, excursions, fantastic food, drinks and entertainment – what’s not to love? This amazing deal is perfect for banishing those winter blues!

Day 1

After joining the coach at your local pick-up point, we have a scenic drive ahead to South Wales. With a comfort stop or two, take in the sights before checking in to The Belgrave Hotel. The reminder of the day is at your leisure, take a cliff top walk or relax in the spa before our evening meal. Don’t forget to take advantage of the discounted drinks!

Day 2

Today we head to Britain’s smallest Cathedral City, St Davids. The day is yours to explore! St. Davids is home to a wide selection of historic attractions including the beautiful cathedral, the ruins of The Bishop’s Palace, the National Trust St David's Visitor Centre & Shop. There are plenty of pubs and cafés for lunch. The quaint streets are regularly dressed in bunting and are flanked by cute cages, boutiques, and galleries. 

Day 3

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast as we have a free day in Tenby. With the Tenby Harbour, the Tudor Merchants House, Tenby Museum and Art Gallery plus plenty of eateries and quaint shops – you’ll be spoilt for choice on how to spend your day. 

Day 4

We have an exciting day of sightseeing and exploring as we make the short journey to Carmarthen, the oldest town in Wales with a rich history and vibrant market. After lunch, we stop at Laugharne Castle situated on the estuary of the river Taf. View the wonderful sights of Laugharne before our next stop in Saundersfoot. Saundersfoot is a stunning coastal village which makes it the perfect for refreshments in one of the many tearooms overlooking the harbour.

Day 5

After breakfast, we say goodbye to Tenby and make our journey home.

The Belgrave Hotel

The Belgrave Hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Tenby, offering a family-friendly environment alongside many helpful amenities designed to enhance your stay. The Belgrave Hotel is located a short distance from St. Teilo's Catholic Church and St Mary's Church. Rooms at Belgrave Hotel Tenby provide a flat screen TV, and guests can stay connected with free internet access on the ground floor in the public areas. In addition, while staying at The Belgrave Hotel guests have access to a 24-hour front desk. Although this hotel has a lift, there are steps up to this lift and various steps to navigate on each floor. The breakfast room is down a flight of steps, so not suitable for anybody who cannot manage steps.
