Burns Celebrations

Join us on a special tour to Scotland as we enjoy Scottish traditions.
Burns Night celebrates the renowned poet Robert Burns with a classic combination of haggis, neeps, tatties, some reciting of poetry, and maybe even a warming dram.

Day 1

Morning departure from your local pickup point, we make our way to Scotland arriving at the hotel late afternoon. Settle into your new surroundings before tonight’s dinner and free bar*.

Day 2

After a traditional Scottish breakfast we visit Stirling Castle. Step inside this impressive castle and delve into a long and bloody history of a castle that has witnessed many battles.  Today you can meet the costumed characters in the roles of bodyguards, court officials, maids of honour and servants who will welcome you into 16th century life. Highlights include the Great Hall, Chapel Royal, Castle Exhibition, Regimental Museum, Great Kitchens, Tapestry Studio and the nearby Argyll’s Lodging, a 17th century town house. We return to Drymen village for some free time before dinner.

Day 3

Today we visit Edinburgh. From museums with world-renowned collections to a majestic castle there is a wealth of attractions waiting to be discovered. Shopping lovers will not be disappointed with the upmarket retail stores on Princes Street and George Street.

Day 4

We depart the hotel after a farewell hot toddy and make our way home with fond memories of our traditional Scottish holiday.
