The celebration of autumn comes to life at the multi award winning Enchanted Forest, a dazzling display using the forest as a natural backdrop. The autumn theme continues with a visit to one of Scotland’s grandest castles, ending with the warm glow of some whisky tasting.

Departing on Monday 21st October for 5 days at just £469pp!

Day 1

Morning departure from your local pickup point, we make our way to Scotland arriving at the hotel early evening.

Day 2

The morning is free to explore Blairgowrie. In the afternoon we visit Glenturret Distillery. The whiskies are crafted by hand and heart using time honoured methods and we have the chance to get up close to the production areas of every stage of the whisky making process.

Day 3

Today we visit Glamis Castle. For 650 years, Glamis Castle has been on a grand journey through Scottish history, from inspiring famous playwrights to welcoming royalty. Once host to Mary, Queen of Scots, Glamis is said to have inspired one of Shakespeare’s most famous plays, Macbeth. During the tour, you will visit the Dining Room, Crypt, Drawing Room, Chapel, Billiard Room, King Malcolm’s Room, Royal Apartments, Duncan’s Hall and the Family Exhibition Room. We return to the hotel for an early dinner before visiting the Enchanted Forest. The event, held in the stunning setting of Forestry and Land Scotland’s Faskally Wood, Pitlochry, is designed to set your imagination alight as you explore. With dazzling visuals and innovative design all choreographed against an original music score - Scotland’s pioneering light and sound show uses the magnificent autumn woodland setting as a natural backdrop for a truly magical must-see.
Please note that due to the natural setting there are limitations to the adaptions that can be made to the forest for disabled access and some areas of the forest are not fully accessible to wheelchair or mobility scooter users.

Day 4

A full day in Perth. Explore the city at your leisure with ancient lanes and alleyways leading to a modern shopping hub as well as a host of museums and galleries.

Day 5

After breakfast we rejoin the coach and make our way home.

Angus Hotel Blairgowrie

Situated in the heart of Perthshire, the Angus Hotel Blairgowrie is a popular leisure hotel, with an excellent location, comfortable, stylish rooms and a touch of true Scottish hospitality. This Perthshire Hotel boasts its very own fully equipped leisure club with a heated indoor pool, spa bath, steam room and sauna. Pamper yourself with a full body massage, hot stone back massage or an aromatherapy massage. The hotel has a lift.
