Our annual pre-Christmas city break is back! Join us on one of our best-selling trips as we head to Liverpool for a festive 2 night stay at the Mercure Atlantic Tower Hotel.

Day 1

After being collected from your local pick-up point we travel to Liverpool with a comfort stop along the way. Drop off your luggage and head out into the city. Liverpool City Centre is compact and walkable. There are various ‘quarters’ (more than four) that represent the various different areas of the city centre. They are The Ropewalks, The Georgian Quarter, Cavern Quarter, The Baltic Triangle, The Waterfront, St George’s Quarter and Chinatown. With plenty of eateries, bars, shops and attractions, there's so much to explore!

Day 2

Enjoy an included breakfast at the hotel and then the day is at your leisure. You’ll have the whole day to explore Liverpool. Why not visit one of the excellent museums, some of which are unique to Liverpool; there’s every conceivable attraction dedicated to the Beatles, of course, as well as interesting experiences like the Seized! Museum, which details the history of smuggling and contraband in Britain. You could relax on a short cruise along the Mersey, or explore the old waterfront. With so much to choose from, you’ll be spoilt for choice!

Day 3

After a leisurely breakfast we check out of the hotel and visit Manchester. Known as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, Manchester has a proud history which spans science, politics, music, the arts and sports. The city-centre is jam packed with things to do, from shopping centres to unique museums, art galleries and a stunning cathedral.

Mercure Atlantic Tower Hotel

The incredible Liverpool Atlantic Tower hotel is a 12-story, 225 bedroom hotel that contributes to the city's stunning skyline. Set on the edge of the city's commercial district, opposite the Royal Liver building, the hotel is within walking-distance to some of Liverpool's best attractions. Liverpool Lime Street station is less than a mile away, while back at the hotel guests can enjoy spacious modern rooms with some of the best views in the city. Grab yourself a drink and enjoy breathtaking views of Liverpool at the Vue Bar and Terrace. Just 10 minutes walk away to The Cavern Club Albert Dock and Liverpool One. This hotel has lifts and states it is wheelchair accessable.
