'Cruise around the World' Christmas Special

Join us on our fantastic new tour to Northamptonshire for Christmas 2024 with a jam packed itinerary, live music, cabaret and dancing with lots of festive food and drink! Choose to spend your Christmas with us, you won't regret it!

Day 1

After being collected from your local pick up point we make our way to Daventry, taking in the sights of the Midlands. We call in at Highcross shopping centre in the heart of Leicester for some free time. With an abundance of eateries and shopping galore, there are plenty of things to see and do here. Don't miss John Lewis and Marks & Spencers for some Christmas treats! We rejoin the coach early afternoon to head to the Mercure Daventry Court Hotel. Check in and be welcomed by cruise staff with delicious mince pies and a drink. Relax and settle into your room before getting ready to set sail! You'll be heading for warmer climates as tonights theme is 'Barbados' so come dressed for the Carribbean and ready for plenty of dancing after dinner and entertainment.

Day 2

After a leisurely breakfast, we take a half day excursion to Royal Leamington Spa, a beautifully decorated quaint town full of history, shopping opportunities and restaurants. We suggest heading to the Regent Court for a delicious lunch or take a walk around Victoria Park and the 'Pump Room Gardens'. We head back to the hotel early afternoon where there will be activities in the form of a quiz, bingo or a competition. Tonights theme is 'France', dress to impress for this evenings entertainment and dinner. Afterwards, why not join others as they head to the local church for Midnight Mass, staff will be on hand to direct you, you can take a taxi (not included) to the church if you wish. What a wonderful way to spend Christmas Eve!

Day 3

Merry Christmas everyone! After breakfast we have a festive schedule for the wonderful day ahead, join in with carol singing with your cruise director and join in the many activities. Today is full board, so eat your fill with a delicious 4 course Christmas Day Lunch. During the afternoon you can choose to join in watching the Kings Speech, watch the afternoon films and take part in bingo/quiz. Later on we have a light buffet dinner followed by evening entertainment. Tonights theme is 'England'. Prepare to be blown away by 'The Best of British' with one of the countries top cabaret artiste!

Day 4

We take the morning at leisure after a busy Christmas Day, relax after breakfast in the lounge or spend some free time in Daventry. We are just a short walk in either direction to Daventry Reservoir (there is a cafe) or Drayton Reservoir for those wanting to blow the cobwebs away and get some fresh air. Alternatively, travel into town and pop in one of the many coffee shops or cafes for a spot of lunch. This evening, the theme is Vegas! We have dinner and entertainment all things American with a tribute to an American Legend and a Fun Casino!

Day 5

We say 'farewell' to the Mercure Daventry Court Hotel as we head back North. We call at East Midlands Designer Outlet for a comfort stop and lunch opportunity with a little free time to grab some last minute bargains.
