Longleat Festival of Light

Join us for a 4 day break taking in the wonderful festive atmosphere of Longleat as it transforms into a spectacular winter wonderland. See the UK’s original and best lantern festival take you on an unmissable journey bringing the festive spirit to light.

Day 1

Morning departure from your local pickup point to Stratford-upon-Avon. Explore the historic town where quaint streets are filled with unique shops. Relax on the parklands alongside the river before continuing to the hotel.

Day 2

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading to Longleat arriving early afternoon. See the house beautifully dressed for Christmas, featuring traditional decorations and numerous Christmas trees, including a six-metre-tall showstopper in the Great Hall, sourced from the Longleat Estate. We also include a safari drive. It may be chilly outside but you can still see lots of animals; the lions and tigers in particular are often much more active during the colder weather. As darkness falls the house and gardens become illuminated in a magical experience with stunning lantern scenes. We return to the
hotel for a late dinner.

Day 3

Day at leisure in Bristol. The hotel is excellently located in a quiet riverside spot just a short walk from the city centre. Nearby attractions include Bristol Aquarium, the Cathedral, Bristol Museum & Art
Gallery as well as the main shopping district with an array of high street favourites and quirky boutiques.

Day 4

We check out of the hotel and make our way to Bath. The Christmas market will have begun and the picturesque streets of Bath will be transformed into a magical, festive experience. With stalls showcasing artisan jewellers, cheesemongers, homeware and more, it's the perfect place to find some Christmas gifts.

Mercure Holland House Hotel

Perched at the edge of Bristol Harbour, within walking distance of the city centre, this hotel fuses classic and contemporary with ease. All the en-suite rooms have air conditioning, Freeview TV, mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel has a lift.
