Join us on an early break to Paignton. The traditional seaside town has been welcoming tourists for generations and has plenty to offer – a beautiful promenade, one of the UK’s biggest zoos and a historic harbour.
Morning departure from your local pickup point, we make our way South to Paignton. On arrival at the hotel we will be greeted with tea/coffee. Settle into your new surroundings before a cocktail in the lounge then through to the restaurant for dinner. Round off the day with entertainment in the lounge.
Free day in Paignton. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Paignton just a short walk from the town centre and sea front. Explore at your leisure then return to the hotel for tea, coffee, cake and a game of bingo. Dinner is followed by a fabulous evening of entertainment.
Today we have a scenic day planned as we take in the local area by train and boat. We begin with a train journey from Paignton to Kingswear, then a short 10 minute ferry to Dartmouth where we enjoy a 60 minute cruise. Keep your eyes peeled for the varied wildlife that can be seen – Dolphins, Seals, Herons, Egrets, Buzzards and Kingfishers if you're quick enough! We return to Paignton via the short ferry crossings and train.
Today we make a short journey to nearby Torquay. You can’t get much more of a ‘traditional British seaside’ resort than the vibrant and cheerful town of Torquay. After some free time we return to the hotel for tea, coffee, cake and a quiz. After dinner we have a final night of entertainment.
We bid farewell to Paignton and make our way home.
