Join us for a relaxing tour of the best heritage and culture on offer in the North East; from an elegant cathedral city, to bracing sea-air and industrial heritage.

Day 1

Morning departure from your local pickup point, we make our way to Ripon. This little city is steeped in history and home to magnificent buildings. You will find a trio of award winning museums and a gothic cathedral that dates back to the 7th century. Mid afternoon we continue our journey to the hotel.

Day 2

Today we visit Beamish; the UK’s most popular open-air museum. You’ll have the full day to explore the various exhibits and immerse yourself in history; don’t miss the chance to try the traditional fish and chips!

Day 3

After a leisurely start to the day we visit Whitby; this unique seaside resort is a warren of alleys and streets and a wonderful place to explore.

This hotel is ideally located just a few miles from Beamish. It is well known for its friendly staff and warm northern welcome. There are 136 fully air conditioned bedrooms – all are en suite and have TV and hairdryer.
