Bournemouth

Day 1

Morning departure from your local pickup point, we make our way South to Bournemouth arriving at the hotel late afternoon.

Day 2

Free day in Bournemouth. The hotel is centrally located just a few minutes-walk from the town centre where you will find well-loved high street brands alongside independent retailers. Head to the seafront to enjoy the award-winning beaches and see the traditional beach huts that actually originated from Bournemouth in 1908.

Day 3

Choose to enjoy another free day in Bournemouth or join our included excursion to Stonehenge. Discover the story of Stonehenge: the stones, the landscape, the people and its meaning, through a powerful exhibition combining cutting-edge audio-visual experiences and incredible ancient objects. Included is a shuttle taking you to the stone circle; marvel at the 4,500 year old iconic British monument that has spurred myths and legends that persist today. In the afternoon we visit Salisbury, a Cathedral city of ageless beauty and captivating history.

Day 4

We begin the day in Dorchester, a vibrant town and tourist spot for sightseeing and shopping. Later we visit Athelhampton. Nestled in the middle of Dorset, Athelhampton is one of the finest examples of a Tudor Manor House. The Great Hall built in 1485 remains greatly unchanged with stunning stained glass and carved stonework.

Day 5

After breakfast, we rejoin the coach for the return journey home.
