Blackpool & The Lakes

Blackpool is the fun-filled seaside resort well known for its wealth of attractions and striking tower. We stay at the Carousel hotel, a firm favourite amongst our regular travellers.

Day 1

A Morning departure as we make our way to Blackpool calling at Oswaldtwistle mills for lunch (not included). Later we continue to Blackpool where you will have some free time before tonight’s dinner.

Day 2

Today we take a short coastal drive to St Annes. Nestled along a picturesque stretch of coastline, Lytham St Annes is a popular seaside resort with plenty to offer. From an expansive sandy beach with a Victorian Pier to stylish boutiques, you will be spoilt for choice.

Day 3

Day at leisure in Blackpool.

Day 4

We begin the day at Havethwaite at the south of Lake Windermere where we board the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway to Lakeside. From here we take a boat trip to Bowness where we enjoy the afternoon. The sprawling town is the Lake District’s most popular visitor destination and has plenty to offer. Visit the World of Beatrix Potter where Peter Rabbit comes to life or head to the long High Street where you will find art galleries, antique shops and independent gift shops – the perfect place to pick up a souvenir.

Day 5

After a leisurely start to the day, region the coach for the return journey home making a stop at Bury’s World Famous Market.

Carousel Hotel

The Carousel Hotel is a modern AA rated 3 star hotel with a fantastic, prime location on the South Promenade, with stunning sea views and within walking distance of Blackpool's many attractions. Each room is fully equipped with high quality furnishings, luxury en-suite bathrooms and flat screen TV's. The hotel also has a lift.
