Please be aware that all drivers have to adhere to the very stringent EU Directives on Driver Hours and the Regulations as laid down by the law. Therefore it may be necessary for our driver to take a break from the vehicle at a time that seems irregular, please be assured that the minimum breaks required will be taken thus enabling you to arrive at your destination as early, yet as safely as possible
Some of the holidays within this web site and in the main CAB Executive Travel brochure contain daily itineraries, whilst we will endeavour to keep to these wherever possible, it may sometimes be necessary to make changes. This is especially so road and traffic conditions dictate or when inclement weather prevents, but would mainly be because of the very stringent laws on drivers hours to which we always adhere to.
Sometimes it is necessary to operate a feeder service to minimise pick up points and times. Whilst we endeavour to complete all pick ups within one hour of the departure time, this may be increased due to heavy traffic and operational problems. If you are concerned about the length of time on the feeder coach, please contact our office approximately one week prior to your departure as you may wish to board the coach at the last departure point.
On selected holidays a reduction may be available for children aged up to and including 11 years when the child shares a room with two full paying passengers. Please enquire at time of booking.
We operate a strict no smoking policy on all our vehicles.
We do not allow pets to be taken on our holidays.
The duration of the holiday is determined by the days of travel. Therefore, a five-day holiday means you join the tour on day one and arrive back on day five, irrespective of the times of departure or return.
CAB Executive Travel cannot be held responsible for luggage or personal belongings carried on vehicles. It is the passenger’s responsibility to see that their luggage is loaded on and off vehicles. Holiday insurance should be purchased to cover any loss or damage to luggage. Whilst our vehicles have large luggage compartments we have to adhere to regulations concerning the overall weight of a fully laden coach. We therefore ask you to restrict your luggage to one medium size suitcase each to a maximum weight of 20 KGs. Collapsible wheelchairs, walking aids and small-motorised scooters may be carried by prior arrangement with ourselves.
It is now British and European law that all coaches/mini buses are fitted with seatbelts and all passengers are required to wear them whilst travelling in the UK and on the Continent. Neither the driver/escort nor the company can be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury arising from your failure to adhere to this law. It is not the responsibility of the driver/escort to remind you of the law, but all our vehicles display the appropriate signage to remind you off this. Should you leave your seat at any time you do so entirely at your own risk.
Please note it is most unlikely for hotels on the continent to provide tea/coffee-making facilities in the bedrooms. Occasionally we receive comments relating to the type of food served for evening meals. We can only emphasize that when travelling abroad the menus offered are normally associated with the country you are staying in, ie you will probably be served pasta in Italy not roast beef and Yorkshire Puddings! In addition, whilst we endeavour to ensure that our clients receive a choice menu for evening dinner, there are a number of hotels on the Continent where this is not offered.
We like our customers to be treated as individuals, therefore our selection of hotels is very important. We personally visit as many of the hotels as possible and choose quality hotels, with good locations and excellent facilities, many of which are four-star standard. Of course, all the hotels we use offer bedrooms with en suite bathroom with either bath or shower.
What do you give someone who has everything - why not treat them to a CAB Executive Travel holiday, or alternatively, gift vouchers can be purchased to the value of your choice.
