    Day 1

After a morning departure from your local pick-up point, you’ll head to Melton Mowbray – renowned for its delicious Pork Pies and Stilton cheese. In the afternoon, you’ll continue on to the hotel.

    Day 2

You’ll begin the day with a visit to Shakespeare’s birthplace; this is the house where William Shakespeare was born and you’ll be able to hear tales of his family life which are brought to life by costumed guides. From there, you’ll walk down the road to Halls Croft, the home of Shakespeare’s daughter, Susanna. Explore the beautifully furnished house and wander in the tranquil gardens where her husband, Dr John Hall would have planted his medicinal herbs.

    Day 3

You’ll start the day with a visit to what is possibly the most romantic cottage in England – Anne Hathaway’s Cottage. Here you’ll re-live the story of William and Anne’s courtship and marriage in the stunning thatched cottage. The house contains many rare treasures from the family’s life-time, including the famous Hathaway bed. In the afternoon, you’ll have time to explore Warwick.

    Day 4

After checking out of the hotel, you’ll have time to explore Coventry. The city has many prominent landmarks, including St Michael’s Cathedral, which is now in ruins but was once one of the city’s most breath-taking sights, St Mary’s Guildhall, one of the finest examples of a Guildhall in the country and dating back to the 14th century, as well as the Cook Street and Swanswell Gates, the city’s only remaining Medieval city gates. You’ll depart Coventry in the afternoon for the journey home.
