Boxing Day in Scarborough
A fun filled day for all the family

We know how it is, Boxing Day rolls around and you finally feel like walking off some of that Christmas fodder and getting some fresh air, and the Scarborough Boxing Day Raft Race is the perfect way to keep the festive fun going. In fact, we can’t think of a better way to keep the family entertained on Boxing Day.

This is an annual event that takes place at Scarborough harbour, and it sees volunteers get into teams to take part in the raft race – and it’s all in aid of charity. Each team wears fancy dress, and as all the rafts are homemade the sight of them frantically trying to speed their way to victory is as funny as it is unusual!
